RXSWIN

Definition

RXSWIN (Regulation X Software Identification Number) is the identifier, defined by the vehicle manufacturer under UNECE R156, that represents the type-approval-relevant software for a given UN Regulation — the X stands for that regulation's number. When an update changes software relevant to that approval, the RXSWIN must change too, keeping the vehicle traceable to its approval.
