SOME/IP

Also known as: Scalable service-Oriented MiddlewarE over IP

Scalable service-Oriented MiddlewarE over IP — service-oriented automotive Ethernet middleware.

SOME/IP is the AUTOSAR-aligned service-oriented middleware on top of automotive Ethernet (typically 100/1000BASE-T1). It supports request/response, fire-and-forget, events, and field notifications — and is the typical communication fabric for AUTOSAR Adaptive applications.
