Cybersecurity Property

Also known as: CIA triad, Security property

Confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity (or extensions) protected on each asset.

A cybersecurity property is the security attribute that must hold for an asset. The CIA triad (confidentiality, integrity, availability) is the baseline; ISO/SAE 21434 adds authenticity, non-repudiation, and authorisation where the analysis warrants. The asset–property pair is the unit a damage scenario then references.
